My first venture

Well, it's been more of a struggle than I thought it would be, but I finally have a website: http://herbal-nutrition.net/sjane_thorp and a fan page on facebook that is directly linked to my website...

now to get this Internet marketing thing down and I should definitely be raking in the money!
So, I'm getting my feelings hurt because two people said they were going to try herbalife, but wanted samples for free, but it costs me money, and money is hard to come by when you don't have a job. I do have a car now though and instead of having a permit, I have a car I can take the drivers test..
On a different note I had my first sale, she wanted what I took, I made sure people could buy it, and it worked.. no stupid free sample, just faith that it works. Yes!! And I wore my button and I was out in public all day, mind you the boys were off the hook, being loud and not letting me be a patient quiet mom, sooo embarrassing but I let them know.. which is why only one person asked about my button, because they hadn't seen me lose my temper and raise my voice to them all over the store. But at least I know wearing the button does work!
I just wanted to post this because so many people get suckered in to an MLM business strategy, work from home, make lots of money, set your own hours.. it's glorious! Yes, but it also costs money, lots of money. Money to print up flyers, business cards, purchase websites, purchase traffic to your website, advertise for your business. Herbalife does not advertise because it does not sell to the general public. It sells to distributors who advertise. It cuts costs by not selling to the general public, it is a company designed to make millionaires not become a millionaire... it is not one person behind it all making so much money... it is one company owned by several people who distribute their amazing products to distributors, with a pyramid system of trickle down income. It is in no way a scam, but it definitely doesn't explain everything, especially if you are looking at someones work at home website. I actually fell for a work at home scheme that turned out to be an Herbalife distributorship, however they didn't post anywhere that they were affiliated with Herbalife in any way. I wasted money. I wasn't given it back. I was denied information that I desperately wanted. I certainly felt scammed, especially when they told me that I needed to send my kit back within 14 business days or I would be charged $40. Even though they refused to sell me their marketing strategy. I explained to them that what they were doing was bad business and tarnishing a reputably company. One that I also worked with. It's out there folks, be ware. Herbalife has amazingly great products. They work. If you want to get a better discount you can sign up to become a distributor yourself. Then you may sell products to family and friends. This is how it has always worked, and this is the way it is today. It is a discount on purchasing awesome products that really do work. That's all!

Unhappy with your body?

So many people focus on the wrong things when trying to change their bodies. If you are currently unhappy with your body image you need to first figure out the root of your problem areas.Many people gain weight and it can easily be removed with consistent exercise. Others have always gained weight in one area more than any other, unable to lose it with anything. Others are able to fix their metabolism with eating better. There are so many diets out there, calories to count, deliciously tempting treats we are forbidden to eat... When nothing seems to work, Herbalife products do the trick!
 For me it started as an adolescent who spent too much time alone with tv and snacks. However, when I became active the weight also started to come off. Now after I reached adulthood and started experimenting with which birth control method worked best with my body, I tried out the birth control shot, Depo Prevara. It was the worst thing I could have done, it changed my entire body, it slowed down my metabolism, made me gain weight, made be break out with zits, lose my thick hair and have extreme mood swings. I literally thought I was going to lose my mind. I switched birth control right away and every thing pretty much went back to normal, except my weight.
Now I had dealt with a large chest my whole life and gaining this extra weight just made me feel worse about having been so largely endowed. I had already lost the elasticity in my breasts along with about 20lbs, after I joined the swim team in High School for one year. I got a breast reduction at age 19 and tried so very hard to lose weight just from exercising and eating healthier. Nothing seemed to work. I was doomed to be a size 16-14 forever and ever. Then after college and meeting my husband, I became pregnant with my first child at age 22. Losing weight right away in my early pregnancy I thought for sure I was doing everything right with this pregnancy, I even exercised until I had a pinched nerve that made moving any time extremely uncomfortable. I eventually ballooned up to 275lbs and because of postpartum depression I didn't feel like exercising, because of the breast reduction I wasn't able to produce enough milk. I had heard that you can lose all your baby weight when you breast feed and so I felt I was doomed to be this large woman now a size 22 for the rest of my life. Oh well, right? I lost some weight during the next 4 years but became pregnant with my second child. Determined not to get quite so large again I tried to walk more, be outside with the boys and play with them more often. However my metabolism was still slow. It didn't matter how much exercising I did, my metabolism was determined to keep the fat. It didn't matter my diet, my metabolism would turn it into stored fat. It was me against my metabolism.
My neighbor sold Herbalife, I had tried it 12 years before, incidentally when I didn't have much weight to lose, and had no success with it. I thought Herbalife was only about shakes and a few pill supplements. He gave me a bottle of total control for watching his dog while he was away. Now, he had given me samples before, asking me if I had noticed a difference in anything. Well, being preoccupied with my children I didn't really have time to analyze how I felt every second of the day. However I did notice that I felt good, calm, energized.. I lost 30lbs with just two bottles. I got one more, just to see if it would keep working, I've tried pills before (metabolife) and it was great at first then it just stopped working. Not Herbalife. Because they are plant-based nutrients working on a cellular nutrition level, they go straight to the root of the problems. Poor nutrition. I can't help it if we live in a society that mass produces meat and serves it at incredibly fast paces. We are a fast food nation after all. Poor nutrition is the root of our health problems. I ended up getting a few more bottles of Total Control, I purchased the Cell Activator to enhance the benefits of the plant based supplements. Because Herbal products take a little longer than the chemically created crap we're used to, it can seem as if the products aren't working right away... trust me, they are. It didn't take you one day to get fat, it didn't take one week of eating fast food 1-2 days a week to instill poor eating habits, it didn't take you 4 weeks of bad eating habits to make you feel like not exercising... this happened over time, lots of time, many weeks, many years. Give herbal products time to absorb into your system. I guarantee you will be happy with the end results.
Total Control helped curb my hunger, it made me alert and have more control over my attention span, it ate my stored fat, it woke up my metabolism and kicked into gear. It changed my life forever. I lost 79lbs total. I am a size 7. I have never been a one digit size. Ever. I truly thought I was destined to be a fat mom forever. I truly thought that. First, I lost weight and I wasn't ready for it.

I thought I was stuck in this 220lbs fat body for the rest of my life. I had accepted that I was large and my family on my dad's side was large and I was never going to be 150lbs ever. Never. I was never that size in school, I wasn't even that size after I graduated high school, and I most certainly never got to that size after I had my first baby. It wasn't until my second baby that I got a hold of a bottle of Total Control which seriously took control of my body and made it work properly.
